Paintings

The painting is AMAZING - thank you so much.  Straight on the wall in the living room in pride of place.

We love Stephen's painting, 'Rempton Woods' which is hanging in pride of place in our living room.  It is a visually striking conversation piece that is also easy to live with.  I love the way the painting teeters on the edge of abstraction but is also clearly identifiable as a woodland scene. 

In the flesh, the paint is applied in a thick impasto fashion giving it a real three dimensionality, casting shadows as the light changes. 

We love all the nuances in the thick paint and how it reflects the light in different ways at different times of the day.

Its terrific!
